Dajuan D. Smith, a Financial Consultant specializing in working with federal government employees. A former federal employee who worked in the Bulk Mail Center in Allen Park, MI. While this was an extremely exciting opportunity to work for the federal government, I begin to feel something was lacking. During that time, no one visited the facility to educate us (the workers) about the Gov’t benefits we had or did not have, nor did we have any education on the details of the pension or the Thrift Savings Plan. After 10 years as a Postal Service employee, I left to join the financial services industry to become an educator and provides financial services that would empower federal employees to know and understand their benefits and build a solid financial plan of action. In the financial services industry, we’ve learned how to break things down to the root cause of the issue.

D. Smith Financial Services, we offer financial education seminars exclusively designed for federal employees. We focus on doing a deep dive into the federal government benefits offered to federal employees under the CSRS and FERS retirement systems. We work with our clients on a vast variety of financial service areas, such as Retirement planning, 401k, Thrift Savings Plan, FEGLI, Disability and Long-Term Care.

In addition, we work with our clients one-on-one to take a personal approach to all aspects of their financial situation so they can make well informed decisions and select the financial service options that meet their needs.
